Ms. Saltanat Rakhimbekova has been the Chairwoman of the Public Council of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan since April 2019 and the Chairwoman of the Management Board of the Association “Coalition for a Green Economy and G-G Global Development », a public organization based in Kazakhstan.

Prior to this, she was a Member of the Council on the transition to a green economy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the head of the Commission on Ecology of the Public Council under the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 2016 to 2018.

She is a founder and head of a number of “green” organizations in Kazakhstan such as “Coalition for green economy and G-Global development”, International Organization “EXPO&Women”, “Green Bridge Partnership Program”. She is one of the those who initiated the creation of “Arnasay green valley” where there are already implemented more than 35 “green technologies”. She also initiated the “Green Bridge Partnership Program” and this organization is intended to strengthen international cooperation in transition to “green” economy.

She holds a Doctorate of Economics from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Singapore
