He was born in Kayseri on 5 February 1957.
He is a businessman. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Finance at Faculty of Political Sciences of Ankara University.
He served as a member of Board of Entrepreneurs of Organized Industrial Zone of Kayseri; a member of the Executive Bord of Industrialiests and Businessmen of Kayseri and a founding member of Kayseri Branch of Alumni Assosiation of Political Sciences Graduate of Ankara Faculty.
He was elected as a Member of Parliament from Kayseri during 22, 23 and 24th Legislative Terms of GNAT; performed as a Deputy Chair of AK Party Group at GNAT during 23 and 24th Legislative Terms successively. He was a member of the Committee on Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology; member of the Committee on Plan and Budget and member of Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group between Turkey and Ukraine.
He was Ministery of Economy at 64th Government of Turkey.
He served as the Deputy Chair of AK Parti Group at GNAT.
Currently, he is the member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Chairperson of The Committee on Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Tecnology.
He has a good command of English. He is married with four children.
