He graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization in 1997.

Labor activity

1994 – Researcher at the Central Asian Research Institute for Irrigation.

1994–1997 – Deputy Chairman of the “Union of Youth” of the Tashkent Institute of Engineers of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization.

Since 2000 – Specialist of the Scientific Information Center of the Interstate Coordination Water Commission of Central Asia, Head of the Natural Resources Management Improvement Project in Central Asia, established jointly with the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

2005–2007 – Researcher at the University of Texas A & M Research Center

2008 – Head of the enterprise “Nazar Business and Technology”.

From 2017 – Acting Deputy Minister of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Head of the Office of Research and Innovation in the Real Economy.

In accordance with the Decree of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from July 13, 2018 (№ПП-3854), A. S. Nazarov is appointed to the post of the Deputy minister of innovative development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
